--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It was dark but , the orange haired boy still stuck out like a sore thumb. His hair made him looking like a walking Halloween pumpkin. If he did become a vampire he was sure he would starve. He was pretty sure the prey would see him coming a mile a way. The hunter let out a long sigh and starched at the bandages on his neck. The bites marks on his neck had long scared and healed but , he kept the badges on. He feared that someone would ask questions if they saw them so. he kept them covered.
He eventually came upon the school's fountain and stopped in front of it. The hunter stared at it for a few moments before walking over to it. When he reached edge he felt one of those waves of pain that he had been having since he was bitten. " Gah Damn it" he cursed loudly as he grabbed his neck and got to his knees. His free hand gripped on to the concrete of the fountains edge as his vision blurred for a moment." Paranoid my ass mom" he said out loud as the pain passed for a moment.
After it passed he closed his eyes for a moment and sat on the fountains edge. His eyes remained on the ground and his hand held his head. Usually these pain waves come in two's so, he hoped no one would be around for the second one.

Kuronosuke, or Kuro as he preferred to be called wandered around the grounds. It was nice to get out of the dorms for once. He had found himself sneaking past the guardians; even though he knew that he could avoid it with a lie if he wanted to. In his pocket, he had a paper that neatly read a list from the Hunter’s Association of who was on his list to take out. Of course, he wasn’t concerned with any of that now. His targets had already found themselves a nice place to hide out as they feared for their lives.
It was quite an amusing thought. A vampire that cowered before a human was certainly a lovely sight to see. Kuro liked to hunt them down and destroy them for everything that they had taken from the boy. It was the perfect revenge and game for him to play. It was true that he hadn’t killed the vampire that turned his past guardian into a Level E, but he was determined to find them and hunt them down. It was that vampire who had taken the boys eye at a young age. It was that vampire that he had once thought was good and had spared his guardian’s life. It wasn’t fair at all that she had turned Level E. It wasn’t and shouldn’t have been her fate in his eyes. He had done everything to keep her secret about being bitten and to keep her still alive and well, but he had been too late to save her. It haunted him even now.
To redeem himself and his deceased family and guardian, he had taken up the responsibility of becoming a hunter to slay the disgusting beasts who had taken away those that he cared about the most. He refused to let anyone get too close to him now for fear that something terrible would happen to them as well. He couldn’t stand the thought of losing more people that he loved. He imagined the pain that Toga Yagari must have felt when he had to slay his own fiancée. That fiancée has been Kuro’s previous guardian.
Kuro found himself being alone for most of his life. He didn’t like it for the most part, but he didn’t mind it as well. If he were to be alone from everyone it would be more of a blessed fate in his own eyes. He didn’t want to lose anyone else, so he didn’t want to get too attached to any single person at the school for the safety of his own sanity.
He had decided to go and hang out by the fountain tonight because he was bored and liked to run his fingers through the water and enjoy a few of the lollipops that he had brought along to eat. He had gotten close enough to notice a bright orange color and he narrowed his eyes slightly as he slid his fingertips into his pocket. He wasn’t sure who it was, but if it were to be a vampire on campus that had malicious intent, he was sure that he would end their life with his weapon; Condemned.
He jumped slightly, but quickly composed himself as he heard the person curse loudly. It was rather an annoyance. If they had wanted to be undetected, he figured that they would have just kept quiet. After a few moments of contemplating, he found himself approaching the male at the fountain only to let out a slight gasp as he recognized the boy there. He had a class with him and he was pretty sure that the boy was quite possibly a hunter himself. He wondered what the male was doing out here and found himself becoming very curious to the male’s behavior with it being so late at night. He spoke calmly and casually. “I’ll hope you know that the Guardian’s probably heard you. You shouldn’t be so loud at night. It draws all sorts of attention to yourself.” He smirked softly and walked over to take a seat on the fountain.
He stared at the male and worried a bit if he was alright. He looked as though he was in pain and his eyes quickly found their ways to the bandage on the male’s neck. How curious! He observed the boy’s behavior and frowned slightly before he spoke. “What’s wrong with you?” His gaze wouldn’t move from the male. He was all too interested in what was going on, but he was also a tad afraid. This situation seemed all too familiar. He had seen it before with his past guardian. Could this male have been bitten by a pureblood? He wanted to wait to ask that question because he wanted to observe the male a bit more to figure things out for himself. It would be better that way.

The orange haired male made a face as he held his head and rubbed his temples. He heard footsteps but , he ignored them and kept his gaze on the ground. Figuring it would help he began counting the cobblestones in his head. When he heard a voice he looked up slightly through his fingers. He didnt answer the small dark haired boy at first. " I highly doubt that. I didnt cuss that loudly plus i havent every right too. They dont have bat sonar yuh know" he growled lightly before letting some air escape his lips. He didnt understand why they boy thought the two guardians would hear him. They could not both have super sonic hearing to pick up students who were out at night. Plus he didnt think it was a big deal that he was out at night because , he could take care of himself.
After he had spoke he saw the boy's feet near him and then they moved to the side. This told him that the boy had sat next to him on the swan fountain's edge. Shortly after sitting the male asked what was wrong with him. Was his pain that obvious he wondered as released his head and looked to the boy. He observed him for a moment and caught him staring at his bandaged neck. The hunter made a annoyed noise to himself out loud and touched the bandages on his neck. His neck bite was itching him today and it felt warm. He wanted to stracth at it but , he would have to remove his bandages to do that. So, right now that was out of the question because he had no supplies and the boy was there next to him. If he took off the bandages the boy could easily figure out his secret. The pumpkin haired hunter had not told anyone about his problem. The only person that knew was his middle sister who had they same problem. Unfortunately his sister had fled so he had no one to talk to about it. Plus by now he figured his sister was a level E because, she always was easily defeated even by the smallest things.
" Why do you ask?" he finally said to the boy to see what he had observed. He was trying to avoid the subject but , he supposed he have to think of something if the boy probed him about it. His hand went his forehead again momentarily as he sat up straight. He wondered if this boy already knew. His sister was able to tell right away but , he figured that was because she was turning to. He was tougher than his sister but , he knew he could't hold it back forever. He just hoped before he became level E he could find the pureblood that bit him and stop the down fall to level E. So, far he was having no luck but , he still stuffed some hope in the back of his brain. It was no cure but , it helped just a little bit.

Kuro wasn’t quite sure what to do when he had come across the boy, but he got definite vibes that this male in fact losing his humanity which was quite a frightening thought. He was terrified to get too close deep down, but he was also quite curious to what was going on with the male and if his suspicions were exactly right. He figured from the looks of things that the male seemed to be struggling with a change because he could still sense the human side of him. He felt bad deep inside, but he figured that he’d have to end the male’s life if he were to attack a human. It was a sickening task that the Hunter’s Association left him with.
He chuckled softly at the male’s words and smirked. “You never really know where they might be on campus. Therefore, you should watch with your voice. If you’re too loud you’ll end up in trouble if they’re nearby.” He figured that it would be obvious though as to why the male couldn’t be loud, but obviously not. He also knew that the Night Class could be drawn on the situation as well if he was too loud. After all, they loved to come to a source of trouble for amusement. He just didn’t feel like dealing with the Night Class tonight. After all, he found that they would irritate him and get on his nerves more than anything. However, it wouldn’t be too bad if someone interesting decided to show up. It was a bad habit of Kuro’s to go around and mess with their heads. It was a simple yet fun game all at once.
He looked rather puzzled at the male and frowned gently. “Are you hurting under those bandages?” He wondered if that was the huge and main source of the boy’s problems. That is what it looked like to Kuro. He had calculated in his mind over and over that many humans would hide bite marks like that. His own guardian had done that for a while and would wear higher collared shirts in order to cover it up. He had gotten fairly good at telling when someone was falling to Level E because it reminded him of his guardian who slowly fell to that state. He honestly wanted to help people who were like that before they fell too low to be saved. However, in a situation like this he figured that the male didn’t want to tell anyone, so he wanted to be quite casual about it.
“What’s your name?” His voice was low and curious, but he figured that if he got to know the male well enough that he’d be able to get the information out of him more easily. It seemed to be easy to get other’s to open up if you played your cards just right. “You can all me Kuro. I’m Kuro Shiroichi from the Hunter’s Association. I’m also a student here. I mean no harm.” He kept his gaze on the male and listened as he had spoken once more and he chuckled. “It looks like you’ve gotten hurt.” He extended his arm forward to trace his fingers gently on the bandage. Of course, he meant no harm. He only reached forward to make his point more clear. “So, tell me.” He let a smirk consume his face. “What are you hiding under those bandages? Did you perhaps find a run in with a member of the Night Class?” He wondered if the male would lie, but he was curious. “If so, I’d be more than happy to show them what happens when they choose to find a snack that is a student.”
He kept his gaze on the boy’s expression with clear interest. His bright blue eyes searched for any sign of fear or other emotions that humans loved to give off when being questioned. It was fantastic when you could observe so many different reactions, so that is what he wanted to do now with the male. He wanted to see what reactions he could bring out and how they could help him come up with even more questions that could make this situation much more interesting for himself.

HIT ME HARDER CAUSE I DONT CARE HIT ME HARDER CAUSE I DON'T CARE ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The orange haired male stared into space for the next few moments. The boy next to him let out a chuckle for some reason. Ku's chocolate eyes shifted to him as he talked about the guardians being like ninjas. He didnt really know how to respond so, he just nodded. The other hunter then asked if he was hurting under the bandages that circled his neck twice. Kukai made a face and touched the bandages briefly with his finger tips. " Not really its more of an itch but , bandages usually do that." he told the small teen with some slight depression danced in his tone of voice.
As he watched a green leaf fall from a near by tree the boy asked him his name." Kukai" he said simply before he noticed the male's fingers going to his bandaged neck. The hunter's chocolate eyes widen slightly and he reached and grabbed the boys arm. " Scars from a run in with a vampire on a mission." he replied as his eyes narrowed slightly at the boy's slender wrist. " I don't remembered who the women was." Ku informed the boy as he let go of his wrist.
After letting go of the boy he let his arm fall into his lap with his hand hanging off. The other arm mirrored the other other one as he wrinkled his nose slightly. " But don't worry about like i said i'm not Level E. Plus i dont think there's a difference in bite appearance from pureblood and normal vampires." Kukai rambled a bit as he grabbed on to his forehead when another wave of pain hit him. In attempt to make the pain go away he rubbed his fore head a few times. As he stared at the ground the cobble stones became a little blurry. At this sight he cussed softly under his breathe as his throat felt a little dry. The need for blood was getting worse each time and wasnt sure how much longer he could hold it in.
