See the gentle looking soul pictured above? That is Maria Kurenai. She is a highly formal young lady and still has much to learn about the world around her.

As for friends, Maria loves having them. What better way to overcome her slight shyness? At the moment, she has no one as a friend. Its likely she'll end up having a couple close friends that she can truly call her friends but most likely her innocent, naive self will lead people to manipulate her or even trick her into believing in their friendship. Whether it be a human, vampire, or hunter, anything is game.

Enemies. Its possible for her to have some, especially because of her family ties (and her similar look) to the Pureblood Shizuka Hio. If not for that, then maybe her blunt honesty offended you in some way. Or maybe, just maybe, there's something you just doesn't like about her. A little drama goes a long way in character development.

Romance. Right now, Maria is single. She isn't seeing anyone, male or female. As much as she would love to have some sort of romance, she does have a tendency to toy with people's affections, just without them realizing it of course. Have any other ideas? I'd love to hear them.

Naturally Yuuki is going to try and approach this from the friendship angle. Especially since Maria seems so alone. Leaving someone without a friend in the world is just something Young Yuuki can't live with! Haha, so what says you?

Of course. Maria would love to have Yuuki as a friend. It'll be interesting to see how this plays out, especially considering their roles.

Friends. Of course Ichiru be acting as a bodyguard to her. Ichiru would love to be her friend. He would try to be friendly and protective towards Maria given the fact she's a relative to Shizuka. He would want to know that Maria is well protective.

I agree. They would be interesting as friends, maybe even stay in contact after Shizuka dies? *hopeful look* Either way, there's so much that could possibly happen that this would be pretty entertaining.
