relaxing [yuuki]

Making her way from her last class and back to the Sun Dorm's common room, Kayako Niimura sat down on in the first chair she set her eyes on. She was just lucky, and happy, that nobody else had claimed it before her. It was another typical day; study and be loaded down with homework. Same old, same old. To say that Kayako hated studying was an understatement. She had studied her butt off to get into the school, so by now she was tried of it.

All Kaya wanted to do now was rest and relax before she'd have to start on her homework. Leaning back in the chair as much as she could, which wasn't very much, she groaned and gathered her things before sitting on a couch. The common room soon began to fill people, most of them being loud about the Night Class. Yes a lot of them were extremely good looking, but they didn't have to shout it! She was pretty sure some of the girls were waking the dead.

Letting out a tiny yawn, Kaya stretched her arms before laying down on the couch.

Bustling back to the Sun Dorm after completing her her first duty of the day, which was to keep the Day Class students from swamping the Night Class, Yuuki was wanting to salvage as much of dusk as she could before she had to go out and watch the grounds for the Night Shift. Reaching the door, the young brunette stood outside for a moment so she could collect herself. It was impossible to know what she would be walking into, and were it a riot of some kind she certainly didn’t want to be huffy and out of energy.

After spending a good minute leaning on the solid frame of the door, Yuuki pushed through the large entrance. It was hard for her to hide the fact that she was kind of surprised to hear almost nothing of the usual noise level, and for that matter she was leery that most of her classmates had apparently gone to their rooms already. Scattered about the common room was a small trace of her classmates, but there was only one she could see herself conversing with at the moment. Casually approaching a chair beside the couch Yuuki took a seat, mentally reminding herself not to get too comfortable because she still had work to do. “Hey there Kayako! Long day?” There was really no need to ask such a question, Yuuki knew full well on her own that the day had been long, but it was the first piece of conversation that came to mind. And maybe Kayako had a more enlightening day, one that could give Yuuki some hope that not all class time was bad.

Hearing somebody speak to her, Kayako perked up as if she were a dog whose master had just called them. Looking over to see a fellow Day class student, she smiled at Yuuki Cross. She liked to think that they were friends. They were both nice and didn't argue with each other. But Yuuki always seemed busy with her duties, so it seemed like she rarely got to see her.

"Hey Yuuki" Kaya said and sat up rather than deciding to lay down in front of her. Shrugging her shoulders, she messed with her short bangs a little bit. "Eh, same old same old really." she simply said. Raising an eyebrow at her question, she was pretty sure that she knew how class was. "Why do you ask? Did you fall asleep or something?" she asked her with a smile.

Fixing the skirt of her uniform some, Kaya looked back over at Yuuki. "So how has life been treating miss Yuuki Cross?" she asked, trying to sound like an interviewer or a reporter.

Jolting at the mention of having fallen asleep in class, Yuuki was faced with one of two options. Tell the truth, yes she had once again fallen asleep in class. Or lie about it. “Me? Fall asleep again? No, I wouldn’t! I’m already in way too much trouble….” Waving her hands in front of her frantically as if trying to remove the idea from the room, Yuuki tried hard to just laugh it off. Still there was no doubt that she was lying, anyone with eyes could see it. Why can’t acting be one of my strong suits? Lowering her hands slowly, and giving her act up with a final huff, Yuuki looked to her lap in defeat. “Okay so I kind of dozed off again…I don’t know why class has to be so boring!” Looking back to her friend, with a new found vigor on the topic, the young brunette was hoping for an agreeing statement of some kind. “Do you think I could study your notes with you later? If I fail any more of my classes Headmaster will be really upset and I don’t want him to worry anymore.” At the thought of causing Headmaster Cross anymore trouble, Yuuki’s expression became much more crestfallen. If one didn’t know better, they might assume her to be Bi-Polar. But it was really all just her being her.

"The class is only boring because of the teacher." Kayako informed Yuuki. A blind person could see that one it was so painfully obvious. Once again, she was right; Yuuki had fallen asleep. She didn't blame her though, the class was really boring as it almost put her to sleep plenty of times.

Picking up her bag, Kayako nodded her head. "Of course you can! Isn't that what friends are for? To make sure one of them doesn't fail a class?" she smiled. She knew Yuuki would do the same for her, even if she was sleeping in class like all of the time. "If you want you can copy them also, that you have your own copy and nothing bad happens to my copy." she said to her.

Messing with her bangs some, Kayako knew it would be awhile before she would need a hair cut. That was why she loved having short bangs. Messing with one of her braids, she looked from her bag then back at Yuuki. "So when do you want to study? Maybe after you've gotten some rest?"
