THE GOOD
• Very Loyal. Once he claims he is on your side he is loyal to the bitter end. Even if his life is on the line, he will risk everything to protect the people most precious to him.
• Enthusiastic. He is always enthusiastic and trying to learn new things. Sometimes he can go over the top and go overboard when trying to get to know people, but he has their best interest at heart!
• Happy-Go-Lucky. He tends to let things slide by him very easily to avoid conflict and issues. Even if it hurts him deep down, he’s known to brush things off and keep going. Sometimes he doesn’t realize what he gets himself into, but he’s always open minded for something new!

THE BAD
• Annoying. He can wear on your nerves after a while because of some of the things he asks or suggests can be fairly childish. Sometimes when he realizes he’s being annoying he tries to make it up which can make matters worse.
• Clingy/Flirty. He gets attached to other people very easily and he tends to not be the type to let go. If he deems you cute in his eyes he may follow you, annoy you, stalk you, or just flirt with you. He likes to be surrounded by people and likes it when people enjoy his presence. He absolutely loves the Day Class girls who fan girl over him and tries to flirt with them and be kind, but he also acts the same way with his fellow Night Class students.
• Very Jealous. He can be very jealous at times and gets upset for example if he loses a fan girl to another member of his class. He tends to get competitive in a fun way and looks at Aidou as a big rival of his for fans; especially on holiday’s. He loves gifts.

• PROFILE) He presents himself very flamboyantly! He is usually seen wearing a pair of headphones or from time to time carrying around an instrument since he loves playing music to swoon people. He is almost always seen with a smile on his face that leaves people puzzled. Even in the most terrible situations he can be seen with a smile as he tries to lighten up the mood more than anything.

He has bright red hair that makes him stand out from most everyone else and large crimson eyes full of interest. He normally is seen wearing the school uniform, but he likes to break the rules and wear what he wants outside of classes. Those outfits tend to be bright colors, but he can sometimes wear darker colors as well.

• HISTORY) Mattaru was born to a high class family of Aristocrats. He is a cousin of Takuma Ichijou. They are related through his mother’s side. He grew up with him and Kaname and knows them fairly well, but he didn’t want to follow the strict rules that his family constantly tried to force on him, so he found himself eventually falling apart from them as to his parents had deemed him not mature enough to be in the presence of Kaname and his cousin.

His family looked at him as shameful and rather ignored him for the longest time. After a while, he had decided to shape up and do what they wished when their family wasn’t doing as well and wasn’t recognized. The order had crushed down his personality for the longest time and had destroyed his normal happy go luck nature that he loved to express towards others.

When Kaname and his cousin had transferred to Cross Academy, he insisted to be able to go there as well to set a good example for the aristocrats and to keep order. As soon as he was able to transfer, he found himself tossing that order and chaos aside to be his true self who was happy and fun loving. He was always a very bright child, so he found himself switching his personality when he had started there. After time, he found that Kaname seemed to be a bit more lenient as long as there wasn’t too much trouble, so he found himself a lot happier at the Academy. His rival in the school is Hanabusa Aidou, though he doubts that Aidou even knows because he keeps this secret rivalry all in his mind because he’s jealous of all the attention that Aidou gets from the Day Class girls.

• ADDITIONAL) Mattaru has the ability to manipulate the mind in a sense of using illusions. He can make duplications of himself or other objects for that matter. These illusions can at times, and with focus actually hold things and replicate their physical attributes as though it’s the real thing.
