Halloween Ball 2012

Welcome to the October Event for the year of 2012! For this event we will be doing the "Burton-Esque ball"! All information on this can be found in the "Announcement Board" through the month of October!

Both the Night and Day class will be in attendance so please mind your manners when interacting! Any site/school rules will apply in this thread and further more will be enforced! Multiple offences will result in character removal from the dance and in the event of extreme disregard, the thread will be removed all together. That being said, please have fun!

After this intro anyone is free to begin the ball, and after that anyone is free to join as this is the main party thread! There may also be side threads created for a more personal feel, but please keep any Ball related threads to the Ballroom!

[Shindo Nadashiko]

Shindo walked into the ballroom with a happy look on her face because she loves to dress up and dance. Today dance was a Halloween one so she was dressed as Emily from the corpse bride movie. As she was standing at the door way she saw that many people were around and have a good time. Shindo got a smile on her face and then walked from the door to the punch bowl.

Once she was at the table she helped her self to some punch and some cookies that are on the table. Shindo then stood by the table and started to play with the veil that she had on her head. As she stood there and watched everyone dance she couldn't help but feel happy because of the good food. After she got a other cup of punch she then walked over to find herself a table to sit and relax at.

When she found her self a table to sit at she then took a seat and listened to the music that was being played.She was enjoying the music that was being play was enjoying seeing everyone around her having a good time. As she was enjoying herself she got a other smile on her face.

[Yuuki Cross]

The ball appeared to have reached full swing a lot faster then Yuuki could have ever imagined. Walking into the strangely decorated ballroom, she couldn't help but be impressed by how well the decorating committee did with the short amount of time and limited budget that they had been given. It really felt like she had stepped into a land built by Tim Burton himself. The illusion was helped along by her baby blue dress and white smock. Looking down at her costume, then messing with the blue ribbon in her hair, she wondered if maybe she had overdone it just a little, but this is what Halloween was for, a time to be anyone but yourself. It was an idea that the conflicted teen girl welcomed with open arms. Dealing with her feelings regarding Kaname, and lately Zero, she was just worn out. At that thought she looked around in hopes of locating one or the other, instead all she could find was a wave of other heads and faces.

Settling on being a wall flower for the time being, Yuuki took to the outskirts of all the action and chose to travel along the wall of the first floor of the ball room. Above her head, there were elegant, and equally Burton-esque balconies packed with other students whom seemed to be having a good time. I really hope everyone has a good night tonight. Upon nearing the buffet table, Yuuki noticed another set of tables meant for sitting and dining at. It was there that she noticed a fellow student dressed as a bride, a corpse bride. Wanting to make sure she was having a good time, Yuuki milled her way over and took a seat beside her. “Well hello there, I sort of noticed your costume from a distance and wanted to say it's really nice." Clearly unaware that she was talking to a girl that had a great deal of affection for Zero, Yuuki just went right along being friendly as usual. For one night she was for the most part able to let her hair down, and that she would.

[Saiyuri Hiou]

As she walked into the ball room she examined the outfit she chose. It was a peach colored old fashioned ball gown. A character named Katrina van Tassle wore it from sleepy hallow. She twirled a little bit with a slight smile of satisfaction. Feeling half foolish she walked over to the side lines to watch all the couples dance. She listened to the music half way trying to mix her business with the dance.
Ignoring most of her surrounding she assigned people jobs on her phone shutting if off to get a break from society. She began to tap her foot to the rhythm of each song. Sometimes humming a song quietly out of hearing range. When people passed she gave a curtsy to those who glanced her way and smiled when someone smiled her way. She found herself wanting to drink something. It was obvious she wanted blood.
Afraid to take the blood tablets it made her struggle, she slowly got some punch half falling on to the table. She hadn’t had blood in a few days. She placed her left hand to her head trying to re-balance herself. When she took a deep breath she got some punch not worrying if someone saw her un-classy performance and went to take her place against a wall. She sipped the punch and decided to try the strange tablets.
It was one of the rules here that we couldn’t take blood from humans. She didn’t hesitate any longer she tossed the tablet in her drink and drank it. the taste was as she thought. Disgusting and nothing more could be said. She wasn’t sure how vampires could take this stuff but it made her feel sick. She took a couple seconds to go get fresh punch to wash the taste away. It was nothing like real blood and who ever created it must have been human since they obviously didn’t know the difference. Slightly growing bored she began to look at the ground. With a smile she slowly sat on the ground.

Shindo heard some walking talking to her . She looked up to see the face of the person who was talking to her. She saw that it was the headmaster's daughter Yuuki. Shindo smiled at Yuuki " Thank you and your's is nice to Yuuki."Shindo said. The young woman was trying hard to be nice to the girl next to her. " So are you having are good time Yuuki?"Shindo asked Yuuki. As she waited for Yuuki to answer here she started to play with lace on one of her gloved hands.

As she was playing with one of her gloves she took notice of a girl walking in to the ballroom. Then she stopped looking over at the door to looking at Yuuki once more." Also how are things going for you ?" Shindo asked her second question. She then waited once more Yuuki to answer. Shindo couldn't help but wonder what Zero could see in this girl.

Shindo let out a sigh and stopped playing with her gloves and once more let a smile come to her face . Would you like to sit with me Yuuki ?" Shindo asked with a smile. She then waited for Yuuki to answer her.
